Stewards established that Ultimate Return turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Acting under GAR 52(1) Ultimate Return was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
Flying Mia and Renaldo were slow to begin.
Flash Lomar and Blue Reef collided approaching the first turn.
Blue Reef and Kilty Jewell collided approaching the first turn, checking Flash Lomar, Renaldo, Kilty Jewel and Nitric Acid.
Ultimate Return was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
