Steward's Report
China Jacket w as a late scratching at 3.17pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to external parasites. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Queen Yuna.
Yolk's Boy and Magic Innings were slow to begin. Queen Yuna and Irka Jakit collided approaching the first turn. Yolk's Boy checked off Magic Innings on the first turn. Queen Yuna and Irka Jakit collided on the first turn. Caro's Arrow checked off Mummy's Ok approaching the home turn. Mummy's Ok raced wide approaching the home turn.
Mummy's Ok was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound and a torn nail to the right hindleg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Miss Pineapple - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Stanley regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Miss Pineapple. Stewards directed that Miss Pineapple be boxed first in future events.
