Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G.McKenna, the trainer of Cheetah Bay regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cheetah Bay last raced on 25 September 2016 .Mr McKenna stated that the greyhound was returning to race following an extended spell.
Trainer, Annette Kampman (Tally Ho Gal) advised Stewards that the greyhound had been spelled since its last engagement on 31 July 2016.
A pre race sample was taken from Hello Slick.
Magic Reindeer was quick to begin. Hello Slick and Tally Ho Gal collided soon after start. Cheetah Bay and Who's Got Mavis collided approaching the first turn. Hello Slick checked off Sudoku Baby approaching the first turn. Cheetah Bay, Who's Got Mavis and Hello Slick collided on the first turn, checking Who's Got Mavis and Cheetah Bay. Tally Ho Gal, Tally Ho Kate and Joey Jakit collided on the first turn, checking Tally Ho Kate. Joey Jakit raced wide entering the home straight. Joey Jakit checked off Tally Ho Kate approaching the winning post.
