Barroom Express was slow to begin. Nero Rose, Aston Lydia and Nitroniun collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Lydia, Nero Rose and Mint Boy. Nero Rose and Aston Lydia collided on the first turn checking Nero Rose and Barroom Express. Silver Salute, Phil's In Luck and Extra Cuddles collided entering the back straight checking Phil's In Luck and Nitroniun. Nero Rose was checked off Aston Lydia entering the back straight severely checking Nero Rose and Barroom Express. Phil's In Luck was checked off Nitroniun in the back straight. Aston Lydia, Extra Cuddles and Nitroniun collided on the second turn checking Aston Lydia and Nitroniun. Aston Lydia and Phil's In Luck collided approaching the home turn.
