A pre-race sample was taken from Tree Climber Liv.
Mystic Quality was quick to begin. Peragon Falcon and Samsara Lass were slow to begin. Tree Climber Liv and Amlin Mystique collided in the back straight checking Tree Climber Liv and severely checking Amlin Mystique, Milla Rose was checked off Amlin Mystique as a result. Peragon Falcon was checked off Milla Rose on the second turn. Tree Climber Liv and Dr. Gammiris collided on the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. P. Terry the trainer of the greyhound Amlin Mystique and reminded her of her responsibilities regarding ensuring she closes the back of the starting box by using the handle at the bottom.
