Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. M Mitchell, the trainer of Mad Bekim regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mad Bekim last raced on 26th July, 2015 and is returning to racing after a change of ownership and trainer.
Uno Krypto was a late scratching at 11:51am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. P. Patterson was fined the sum of $100.
Sunny Breaks was quick to begin. Ripped, Stealthy Who and Mad Bekim collided soon after the start. Mad Bekim and Stealthy Who collided approaching the first turn checking Stealthy Who. Mad Bekim galloped on the heels of Cairnlea Bill on the first turn. Claretown Sam and Wrecking Ralph collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Stealthy Who and Mad Bekim collided on the home turn. Ripped checked off Sunny Breaks approaching the winning post.
