Stewards spoke to Mr. K Lloyd, the representative of Silent Jobe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Silent Jobe last raced on 27th April, 2015 and is returning to racing after a change of kennel. 

Mr. J. Chircop, trainer of Miss Tahlia declared a new weight of 30.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Miss Tahlia last raced at 28.8kgs.

Little Hemi was quick to begin.  Roll 'Em High, Silent Jobe and Jayded Mia were slow to begin.  Latte Donny and Jack's Alouette collided on the first turn. Senni Bones and Jayded Mia collided on the first turn checking Jayded Mia.  Roll 'Em High checked off Miss Talia approaching the home turn.  Senni Bones and Jayded Mia collided entering the home straight.

Riverdale Maggie was a late scratching at 12:09pm due to non arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. I. Green was fined the sum of $100.

Maine Heart was quick to begin.  Arctic Winter and Let's Run were slow to begin.  Twisted Barrel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Petite Ruby, checking Twisted Barrel and severly checking Petite Ruby.  Kolora Tess and Gangster Jatt collided on the first turn.  Maine Heart and Let's Run collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Petite Ruby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W Lambert, the representative  of Regal Spice regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Regal Spice last raced on 13th April, 2015 and is returning to racing after being retired. 

Mr. J. Higgins, trainer of Blitzem Cola, declared a new weight of 29.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Blitzem Cola last raced at 27.0kgs.

Blitzem Cola and Ginto Zac were quick to begin.  Cheryl's Boy was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Azza, Regal Spice and Spare Parts collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Azza and Regal Spice.  Renegade Rebel and Ginto Zac collided on the first turn checking Ginto Zac. Cheryl's Boy checked off Regal Spice on the first turn.  Renegade Rebel checked off Blitzem Cola approaching the home turn and collided with Cosmic Earner as a result.  Renegade Rebel and Cosmic Earner collided on the home turn.  Renegade Rebel galloped on the heels of Blitzem Cola on the home turn. Renegade Rebel and Blitzem Cola collided in the home straight.  Regal Spice and Cheryl's Boy collided in the home straight.  Renegade Rebel eased in the home straight and collided with Blitzem Cola.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Payne, the trainer of Renegade Rebel regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Renegade Rebel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Renegade Rebel with failing to purse the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Payne pleaded guilty to the charge.  Renegade Rebel was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Karaoke Ken was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left front stopper pad.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Uno Krypto was a late scratching at 11:51am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. P. Patterson was fined the sum of $100.

Sunny Breaks was quick to begin.  Ripped, Stealthy Who and Mad Bekim collided soon after the start.  Mad Bekim and Stealthy Who collided approaching the first turn checking Stealthy Who.  Mad Bekim galloped on the heels of Cairnlea Bill on the first turn.  Claretown Sam and Wrecking Ralph collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Stealthy Who and Mad Bekim collided on the home turn.  Ripped checked off Sunny Breaks approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A Courts, the representative of Bekim Echo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bekim Echo last raced on 10th August, 2015 and is returning to racing after sustaining tendon injuries to both hocks. .  

Admiral Bay was quick to begin.  Roll 'Em Zac was slow to begin.  Bekim Echo and Dapto Man collided soon after the start.  Courting Time and Roll 'Em Dainty collided on the first turn.  Bekim Echo checked off Dapto Man on the first turn checking Oscar Lockie, Magic Court and Roll 'Em Zac.  Bekim Echo and Roll 'Em Zac collided approaching the home turn.  Oscar Lockie contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J Sayle, the trainer of Admiral Bay regarding the greyhounds improved time. Mr. Sayle stated that he has a good opinion of the greyhounds ability. He also advised that greyhound has metacarpal trouble and has changed the way he exercises the greyhound. Stewards noted Mr. Sayle's explanation and directed that a sample be taken.
