Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Wilma's Thunder and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 1:55pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr W.Punshon was fined the sum of $100.
Acting in accordance with GAR 56, Stewards declared this Event a "No Race" after determining that the greyhound Hot Pedro had been interfered with approaching the home turn by a foreign object. Stewards were of the opinion that subsequent interference affected other placings.
Hot Pedro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
