Brandon's Way, Mizuki, Dr. Ripped and Willie Gee were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Brandon's Way, Dr. Ripped, Mizuki and Galloping Ashley.  Irish Connection, Aston Zeus and My Superstar collided on the second turn.  Aston Zeus galloped on My Superstar in the back straight and lost considerable ground checking Willie Gee, severely checking Aston Zeus and Galloping Ashley and causing Mizuki to fall.

Mizuki was vetted following the event.  It was reportd that there was no injury apparent.

Avon Stone, Oakmont Whisper and Aye Pee McCoy were slow to begin.  Avon Stone and Oakmont Whisper collided soon after the start.  Baggy's Quest and Dr. Nicholas collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Zipping Zali and Melody Pond collided on the first turn checking Zipping Zali, Melody Pond, Aye Pee McCoy and Rogernator.  Avon Stone crossed out approaching the second turn.  Oakmont Whisper and Baggys Quest collided approaching the second turn.  Oakmont Whisper galloped on Baggys Quest in the back straight severely checking both greyhounds and causing Baggys Quest to fall checking Aye Pee McCoy and Rogernator.  Aye Pee McCoy was checked off Rogernator approaching the home turn.

Baggys Quest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right humerus and was humanely euthanased.
