Thomas Vella, Mister Brown, Eduardo Rose and Nachos Gracias collided soon after the start checking Mister Brown, Eduardo Rose and Nachos Gracias. Thomas Vella was checked off Dundee Harrier approaching the first turn. Dundee Harrier was checked off Eduardo Rose approaching the first turn checking Mister Brown. Aston Salute and Eduardo Rose collided in the back straight checking Eduardo Rose and Nachos Gracias. Thomas Vella contacted the running rail in the back straight, stumbled and subsequently tailed off.
