Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Jacques, the trainer of Leaping Elliott regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Leaping Elliott last raced on 16 July 2015. Mr. Jacques stated that the greyhound was resuming from a right shoulder injury.

Mr B Jacobs, trainer of Dark Corgi declared a new weight of 24.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dark Corgi last raced at 26.4kg.

Leaping Elliott was quick to begin. Swany Lomar and Son Of Shirl were slow to begin. Catalyse, Dark Corgi and Von Schnitzel collided soon after the start. Catalyse and Dark Corgi collided on the first turn checking Dark Corgi and Swany Lomar. Von Schnitzel checked off What Stopping Ya on the first turn. Leaping Elliott checked off Miss Utamurra on the first turn. Swany Lomar and Dark Corgi collided on the first turn. Leaping Elliott galloped on the heels of Son Of Shirl approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Swany Lomar and Dark Corgi collided approaching the home turn.

Ms M Mason, trainer of She's Ours declared a new weight of 25.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). She's Ours last raced at 24.3kg.

It's Burger Time was slow to begin. Mantra Kate, Cosmic Blade and She's Ours collided on the first turn. It's Burger Time and Mantra Kate collided approaching the home turn.

Kraken Zuri was quick to begin. Big Talker and Sir Fire were slow to begin. Our Luck checked off Tat Minnie approaching the first turn severely checking La Flair and checking Big Talker. Dynamite Zara checked off Kraken Zuri on the first turn. Lohbak and Tat Minnie collided on the first turn checking Tat Minnie.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr K Eyles, the trainer of Kraken Zuri regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Kraken Zuri was vetted following the event. It was reported that no apparent injury was found.

Matlin's Tornado and Burst Of Magic were quick to begin. It's Lockie and Smokin' Fast were slow to begin. Awsome To Excel and Old Zebb collided on the first turn causing Awsome To Excel to contact the running rail and collide with Smokin' Fast checking Awsome To Excel as a result. Matlin's Tornado and Burst Of Magic collided in the back straight.

Awsome To Excel was vetted following the event. It was reported that no apparent injury was found.

Highfield Silk was a late scratching at 3.06pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Dorian Bale and Normie's Boy were slow to begin. Stetson Quamby crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Well Advertised, Thunderous Night and Marita Jay. Anna Rose checked off Slipaway Anna on the first turn checking Well Advertised and Dorian Bale, Anna Rose lost ground as a result.

Mr G Connell, trainer of Stylish Fantasy declared a new weight of 30.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stylish Fantasy last raced at 29.4kg.

Specify was quick to begin. Matty Keeping and Oriental Outlaw were slow to begin. Woomera and Cotton Bud Joe collided on the first turn checking Woomera. Fancy Assassin, Woomera and Matty Keeping collided on the first turn checking Fancy Assassin. Stylish Fantasy checked off Cotton Bud Joe on the first turn. Woomera clipped the heels of Oriental Outlaw on the home turn.

Hardy's Me Mum was a late scratching at 8.45am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Volta Allen was quick to begin. Black Velcro and Subway were slow to begin. Zelemar Zippa checked off Neliel Bale approaching the first turn causing Zelemar Zippa and Dundas Boy to collide. To Seven Eleven checked off Volta Allen on the first turn.

Turbo Longstride and Ava's Angel were slow to begin. Bibbi and Ima Menace collided on the first turn. Noddy's Knocka contacted the running rail on the home turn. Deecee Zues and Ava's Angel collided entering the home straight.

Billie's Revenge was slow to begin. Reflected Glory and Bendtastic collided approaching the first turn. Stress Star checked off Silvermere on the first turn. Reflected Glory checked off Billie's Revenge on the home turn. Bendtastic and Stress Star collided entering the home straight.

Reflected Glory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Olivia Snow was a late scratching at 6.54pm by order of Stewards.

Moyarra Okuibi was quick to begin. Wild Robyn was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Fatboy Linc was slow to begin. Clovalley Belle and Jill Laker collided soon after the start. Sticka Step clipped the heels of Proven Kuga approaching the first turn. Clovalley Belle checked off Jill Laker on the first turn causing Fatboy Linc to race wide.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Scott representing trainer Mr D Boots regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve Olivia Snow for racing. Stewards charged Mr Scott with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he appeared 4 minutes prior to the advertised start time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. Mr Scott pleaded guilty to the charge, Stewards found Mr Scott guilty of the charge and fined Mr Scott the sum of $250.

Corgi Cry and Prison Cells were slow to begin. Rance Regstrong checked off Don's Licker on the first turn checking Take The Chance and Twobeeyou. Rance Regstrong checked off Twobeeyou on the home turn. Don's Licker and Rodarte Quayle collided entering the home straight. Don's Licker crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Rodarte Quayle.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dolly Dyer trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 28.1kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.17, the greyhound beaten a margin of 7.25 lengths. Dolly Dyer was cleared.
