Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Desaubin, the trainer of Betty Armagh regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Betty Armagh last raced on 25th March, 2015. Mr. Desaubin stated that Betty Armagh is returning to racing after being on season.
Mr. R. Johnson, trainer of Loose Affair declared a new weight of 33.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Loose Affair last raced at 31.5kgs.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Euro Hope and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.21am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer M Roberts was fined the sum of $100.
Project Boy and Hez Got Nitro collided soon after the start. Apache Tears and Papillon collided approaching the 150m mark. Apache Tears clipped the heels of Gray's Hand approaching the 50m mark and collided with Papillon.
