The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Rouw and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer B Barnsley was fined the sum of $100.

Dungarvan was a late scratching at 10:27am due to illness GAR (23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Arabella Rose was quick to begin. Looming Large and Chica Perro were slow to begin. Princess Katie and Conclude collided soon after the start. Chica Perro galloped on Princess Katie checking both greyhounds which raced wide and collided again approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Conclude and Billy Brae collided on the first turn.

Princess Katie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury; a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Chica Perro was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Miss Icy Rose was slow to begin. Wishing Token and Heza Dee Light collided soon after the start. Bar No Taylah, Wishing Token, Heza Dee Light and Princess Tif collided approaching the first turn checking Bar No Taylah and Princess Tif. Travlouliza and Miss Icy Rosie collided on the first turn. Princess Tif checked off Travlouliza on the first turn causing Hi Laddie to race wide. Wishing Token and Heza Dee Light collided on the first turn. Princess Tif checked off Travlouliza approaching the second turn. Travlouliza checked off Hi Laddie on the third turn.

Jesse Que and Cambridge collided soon after the start. Stay Fresh crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Gypsy Goddess, Sorrento Kid, Sienna Best, Cambridge and Jesse Que. Tyson's Blue Boy and Cambridge collided approaching the first turn checking Sorrento Kid, Jesse Que and Cambridge. Gypsy Goddess checked off Stay Fresh approaching the second turn. Cambridge and Sorrento Kid collided approaching the second turn. Stay Fresh galloped on Tyson's Blue Boy approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Absalom in relation to his failure to engage a catcher for his greyhound, Cambridge in this event. Stewards accepted Mr. Absalom's explanation and took no further action.

April Gem was slow to begin. Premier Lil, David Best and Wise Ella collided soon after the start checking David Best. Dewana Cheque crossed in approaching the first turn checking Sorcerer's Hat, Dewana Cheque, Rex Best and David Beast causing April Gem to raced wide as a result. Wise Ella and Zelemar Knight collided approaching the second turn. Sorcerer's Hat and Dewana Cheque collided from approaching the first turn to the second turn.

Warranty was slow to begin. Have A Dip and Tatty Fields collided on the second turn checking Tatty Fields. Infinite Wish and Kapalos collided on the third turn. Warranty checked off Kapalos on the home turn.

Premier Malt was slow to begin. Watta Good Dee, Mepunga Armagh, One Kay and Black Kaden collided soon after the start checking One Kay. Gypsy Bling, Mepunga Armagh and Mepunga Fearon collided on the first turn checking Gypsy Bling. Miss So Good crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Mepunga Fearon.
