Steward's Report
Allen Robbie, Coringel Ebony and Brady Bones were slow to begin. Keno Bale, Loceryl and Milly's Choice collided on the first turn checking Keno Bale and Loceryl. Coringel Ebony and Destini Ricardo collided approaching the home turn. Destini Ricardo eased on the home turn and again entering the home straight and collided with Coringel Ebony as a result.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Rinaldi, the representative of the greyhound Destini Ricardo regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and entering the home straight. Destini Ricardo was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left thigh and right deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Destini Ricardo with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Rinaldi pleaded guilty to the charge. Destini Ricardo was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
