Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Divers, the trainer of Sicario regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sicario last raced on 18th of July, 2016. Mr. Divers stated that Sicario is returning to racing from a fibula injury. Mr Divers also declared a new weight of 32.0 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sicario last raced at 30.5 kgs.
All Liquored Up and Miss Meerkat were slow to begin. All Liquored Up contacted the running rail on the home turn, severely checking All Liquored Up.
All Liquored Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
