Magic Reindeer was quick to begin. Crump's Princess was slow to begin. Big Bad Badge and Abed Bale collided approaching the first turn. Crump's Princess checked off Big Bad Badge approaching the first turn. Blue Marmion checked off Almani Elite approaching the first turn. Big Bad Badge galloped on the heels of Abed Bale on the first turn, severely checking Abed Bale which stumbled as a result. Fastnet Kahn and Almani Elite collided on the home turn, checking Almani Elite.
Abed Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
