Steward's Report
Destini Tweed, Gunfire Doll and Harry's Hammer were slow to begin. Henry Danger faltered soon after the start and pulled up. Destini Tweed and Gunfire Doll collided approaching the first turn. Bellini Martini, Podium Fantasy and Flying Stealth collided approaching the first turn checking Bellini Martini and Podium Fantasy. Harry's Hammer checked off Flying Stealth on the first turn. Podium Fantasy and Flying Stealth collided several times on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Destini Tweed checked off Bellini Martini approaching the home turn. Bellini Martini and Destini Tweed collided on the home turn. Flying Stealth and Harry's Hammer collided entering the home straight.
Henry Danger was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left groin. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed. A veterinary certificate of clearance will be required before any future nomination will be accepted.
