Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Our Wild Emily upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling, a post race sample was subesquently taken.
Gordyn Abbs was a late scratching at 6.25pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. R. Gilmore was fined the sum of $100.
Magic Myer was quick to begin. Our Wild Emily, Ends Well and Got The Boot were slow to begin. Grace Frend was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Ends Well and Got The Boot collided approaching the first turn checking Got The Boot. Gone Early and Early Spring collided in the home straight.
Got The Boot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist and left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
