Steward's Report
Dream Goal was quick to begin. Early King and Hurricane Elyse were slow to begin. Babs Streishound and Dream Goal collided approaching the first turn. We Have Hope and Extra Kisses collided approaching the first turn checking Extra Kisses. Babs Streishound was checked off Dream Goal on the first turn and raced wide. Early King raced wide approaching the home turn. Dream Goal and Extra Kisses collided approaching the winning post.
Reek was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent. Trainer Mr. J. Peterson declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Peterson the trainer of the greyhound Reek. Stewards deemed the performance of Reek unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Reek must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
