Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Cadalora.
Cadalora was slow to begin. Latifi Sam checked off Scott It on the first turn. Alezan and Mc Fipa collided on the first turn checking Mc Fipa. Scott It and Turbo Chief collided entering the back straight severely checking Mc Fipa, Scott It, Alezan and Turbo Chief. Turbo Chief tailed off as a result and Alezan and Mc Fipa fell as a result. Cadalora and Kaycee Sprinter collided in the home straight checking both greyhound.
Alezan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid muscle and the left groin muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
Mc Fipa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the radius/ulna, and was humanely euthanased.
Scott It was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a shoulder injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.
Turbo Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right hock. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
