A pre-race sample was taken from See Him First.
Zander's Express was quick to begin. Luca Brazzi and Athletica collided soon after the start. My Ultra Jet and See Him First collided approaching the first turn. Luca Brazzi, My Ultra Jet and Athletica collided on the first turn checking Luca Brazzi and severely checking Athletica which contacted the running rail as a result. Sienna's Dream and Zander's Express collided entering the home straight. Slick Scooby checked off Zander's Express entering the home straight.
Athletica was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left stifle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
