Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Chunuk Bair.
Kraken Old Frank and Warranty were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Kraken Old Frank and Rich Jama collided approaching the first turn. Alcala, Rich Jama and Dyna Export collided entering the front straight, severely checking Rich Jama and Dyna Export, causing both greyhounds to stumble as a result. Alcala and Warranty collided entering the back straight checking Alcala.
Rich Jama was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Dyna Export was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
