Peta Bale, Kunis and Stunning View collided soon after the start checking Kunis. Dyna Hula and Peta Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Peta Bale. Tellem Leah went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Mighty Scull was slow to begin.

Premier Malt and Ollie Bale collided approaching the first turn. Ollie Bale and Diane's Lass collided on the first turn severely checking Diane's Lass. Mighty Scull galloped on the heels of Premier Malt  on the home turn. Tellem Leah raced wide in the home straight.

Nicky Bale collapsed in the catching pen following the event and was pronounced deceased by the club's veterinary surgeon. Stewards ordered a sample to be taken and a post mortem to be conducted.

Tellem Leah who trailed the field throughout and tailed off was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and both pencil muscles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. M. Mcguire declined the option to have the greyhound revetted. Stewards deemed the performance of Tellem Leah unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Tellem Leah must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meyer Surg was slow to begin.

Meyer Surg was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and both pencil muscles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Indian Ink was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and the left chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Didda Joe, Rock Domination, Gervon and Kirabilli Roy collided soon after the start severely checking Kirabilli Roy causing the greyhound to stumble as a result. An That and Dede Bale collided in the back straight checking An That. Perfect Roy and An That collided on the second turn checking An That. Dede Bale checked off Perfect Roy on the home turn. Dede Bale and Gervon collided on the home turn.

Kirabilli Roy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Ima Legend and Gimme A Spell was slow to begin.

Naomi Rose and Allen Monkey collided soon after the start. Boppin' Dazzler and Ima Legend collided approaching the first turn. Naomi Rose checked off Allen Monkey approaching the first turn. Lexia severely checked off Inventor on the first turn checking Ima Legend and Claretown Oscar. Inventor and Allen Monkey collided entering the home straight. Boppin' Dazzler checked off Gimme A Spell in the home straight checking Claretown Oscar and Lexia. Boppin' Dazzler checked off Claretown Oscar in the home straight. 

Naomi Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Luxurious was quick to begin. Walk Hard and Flying Bolt were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Razdazl Luke and Luxurious collided approaching the first turn. Flying Bolt and Luxurious collided on the first turn checking Santa Storm and Nothing Much and severely checking Luxurious. Bardot Bale and Walk Hard collided on the home turn. Santa Storm raced wide in the home straight.

American Dollar was slow to begin.

Eddy Betz Keats checked off Stagger approaching the first turn. El Rojo Tini checked off Bouncing Wild on the first turn checking Frank's Flyer and American Dollar. Stagger, Absinth Shot and El Rojo Tini collided approaching the home turn. American Dollar and Frank's Flyer collided on the home turn. El Rojo Tini, Absinth Shot and Stagger collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Eddy Betz Keats and American Dollar collided on the home turn. Frank's Flyer raced wide in the home straight.
