Proceed was slow to begin.  Proceed and Kula Girl collided soon after the start.  Kofi Kaylan and Velocemente collided soon after the start.  Speed Series and Modest Ruler collided approaching the first turn.  Kula Girl and Mystic Fancy collided approaching the first turn.  Glasses Up, Kofi Kaylan and Velocemente collided approaching the first turn, checking Kofi Kaylan.  Kula Girl and Modest Ruler collided on the second turn.  Mystic Fancy checked off Glasses Up entering the back straight.  Modest Ruler checked off Kula Girl on the third turn.  Mystic Fancy and Glasses Up collided on the third turn.  Mystic Fancy, Glasses Up and Kofi Kaylan collided approaching the home turn, checking Glasses Up.

Modest Ruler was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Archie Gumballs was a late scratching at 6.41pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured left dew claw.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
