Spa Lision was slow to begin.
Nowitzki and Zipping Reece collided soon after the start. Santa Storm and Frank's Flyer collided approaching the first turn. Pawnee Princess, Stutter and Boolite Babe collided approaching the first turn checking Stutter and Boolite Babe. Frank's Flyer checked off Zipping Reece on the first turn. Stutter and Boolite Babe collided on the first turn checking Stutter and severely checking Boolite Babe. Spa Lision raced wide in the home straight.
Boolite Babe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
