Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr C Bahen, the trainer of Lunar Eclipse regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lunar Eclipse last raced on 25 July 2015. Mr Bahen stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after suffering a left wrist injury.
Koch and Miss Rossi were slow to begin. Lunar Eclipse and Go Lakers Go collided soon after the start, checking Go Lakers Go. Miss Rossi and Dixie Anne collided approaching the first turn. Shanlyn Violet checked off Lunar Eclipse approaching the first turn. Lektra Oscar, Dixie Anne and Go Laker Go collided on the first turn, severely checking Dixie Anne. Lektra Oscar checked off Go Laker Go approaching the home turn. Red Hot Millie and Miss Rossi collided approaching the home turn, checking Red Hot Millie. Red Hot Millie checked off Miss Rossi on the home turn.

Dixie Anne was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left nail bed abrasion, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
