To The Galo's was slow to begin. Gotta Get Back crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Liam, To The Galo's, Senor Laurie and Skyfire. Skyfire and Babs Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Babs Bale. Liam and Tywin Bale collided on the first turn, checking Tywin Bale. To The Galo's and Tywin Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Tywin Bale. Cornelius Fudge and Skyfire raced wide in the home straight. Liam and Gotta Get Back collided approaching the winning post.
Babs Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injured left and right hamstrings, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
