Stewards spoke to Mr C Bahen, the trainer of Lunar Eclipse regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lunar Eclipse last raced on 25 July 2015. Mr Bahen stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after suffering a left wrist injury.

It was reported that the greyhound sustained Exertional rhabdomyolysis, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R Comensoli, representative for Kraken Conan and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Kraken Conan must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
