Immortal Bear and Sir Tex collided approaching the first turn causing Sir Tex to collide with Ebert Bale. Hashtag Selfie checked off Dyna Shinko on the first turn and raced wide checking Sir Tex and Ebert Bale. Hashtag Selfie and Ebert Bale stumbled as a result. Abscond and Airbound collided on the first turn. One Cup Short checked off Dyna Shinko approaching the second turn. Abscond, Airbound and Dyna Shinko collided entering the back straight checking Abscond and Dyna Shinko. Airbound checked off Dyna Shinko on the third turn checking One Cup Short. Ebert Bale checked off Abscond in the home straight.
