Yelredda Flyer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Gigglepot was quick to begin.  Cosmic Mercury, Pacific Cruiser and Gas A Light were slow to begin.  My Miss Polly, Bud The Builder and Pacific Cruiser collided soon after the start.  My Miss Polly, Bud The Builder, Pacific Cruiser and Totally Lost collided approaching the first turn checking Totally Lost.  Reatily Shintaro, My Miss Polly and Bud The Builder collided on the first turn severely checking Reatily Shintaro.  Totally Lost checked off Bud The Builder on the first turn severely checking Totally Lost and Cosmic Mercury; Totally Lost faltered and fell as a result.  My Miss Polly and Bud The Builder collided on the home turn.  Gigglepot, My Miss Polly and Bud The Builder collided on the home turn checking Gigglepot and Bud The Builder.  Pacific Cruiser and Gas A Light raced wide and collided several times in the home straight.

Totally Lost was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Gas A Light was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hip.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Giblet and Fury Road were quick to begin.  Salesman, Aeroplane Benny and White About Now were slow to begin.  Arvo's Kal and Rockin' Rhonda collided soon after the start checking Arvo's Kal.  Salesman checked off I've Got Spirit approaching the first turn.  I've Got Spirit, and Miss Giblet collided on the first turn checking Salesman and severely checking I've Got Spirit.  Salesman checked off Miss Giblet approaching the home turn severely checking Miss Giblet and Salesman.  White About Now and Rockin' Rhonda collided in the home straight.  Arvo's Kal raced wide in the home straight.

Hendo Blue and Jorgia's Star collided approaching the first turn checking Hendo Blue.  Lopsided and Wendy Lew collided on the first turn checking Wendy Lew and Text Me Tony.  Hendo Blue crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Text Me Tony.  My Birthday and Barroom Express collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Our Miss Penny and Dana Archie collided approaching the home turn checking Our Miss Penny.  Our Miss Nitro crossed to the outside in the home straight.

Lady Abby and Dagwood were quick to begin.  Majimber Rock was slow to begin.  Mott Haven crossed to the inside soon after the start checking In The Flesh.

Cool Milo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right front leg and right monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Key Largo Prince was slow to begin.  Nah Wee's Girl and Key Largo Prince collided soon after the start.  Alderley Riot and Smoking Rosie collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Kifinti, Good For You and Get Up Alvin collided approaching the first turn checking Good For You.  Nah Wee's Girl and Key Largo Prince collided on the first turn checking Key Largo Prince.  Alderley Riot and Smoking Rosie collided on the first turn.  Nah Wee's Girl and Key Largo Prince collided approaching the winning post.  Alderley Riot and Smoking Rosie collided approaching the winning post.

Don't Crumble was quick to begin.  Say Again, Black Selandra and In This Way were slow to begin.  Don't Crumble crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Star Lord and severely checking All For Nothing.  Black Selandra and In This Way collided approaching the first turn.  Surf Jester and Say Again collided on the first turn and several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  In This Way checked off All For Nothing on the home turn. All For Nothing raced wide on the home turn.  Black Selandra raced wide throughout the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr I Newcombe, the trainer of Memphis Pirate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Memphis Pirate last raced on 9th April 2015.  Mr Newcombe stated that Memphis Pirate had been given time off after suffering a toe injury, resulting in the nail being removed.

Sugar Bang and Kiwi Invasion were quick to begin.  Tekki Hail was slow to begin.  Elswyk Gal and Alira Kate collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Memphis Pirate, Better Beware and Kiwi Invasion collided on the first turn checking Kiwi Invasion.  Kiwi Invasion and Elswyk Gal collided approaching the home turn.  Machiko and Elswyk Gal collided on the home turn checking Machiko and Kiwi Invasion.  Memphis Pirate cramped in the home straight and lost considerable ground as a result.

Memphis Pirate was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound showed signs of cramp.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. McCormack, the handler of the greyhound Memphis Pirate.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71(Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr L Mitchell, the handler of Puzzle 'Em approached Stewards prior to kennelling with concerns that the greyhound had not travelled well in the heat. Puzzle Em' was vetted and was a subsequent late scratching at 1:18pm after being found to be suffering from heat stress and an elevated temperature.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mohawk Mako, Spy Miss and Atari Flash were slow to begin.  Spy Miss and Sienna Storm collided soon after the start.  Sienna Storm checked off Oscar on the home turn severely checking Sienna Storm and Atari Flash.  Mohawk Mako galloped on the heels of Madam Model approaching the winning post.

Teddy Nitro and Mizuki were slow to begin.  Snow Mistake went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Richo Brae and Three Day Shadow collided soon after the start checking Three Day Shadow.  Teddy Nitro crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and raced wide throughout the event.  Richo Brae and Chase On Case collided on the first turn checking Chase On Case.  Tekki Cloud and Richo Brae collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Richo Brae which stumbled and collided with Snow Mistake as a result.

Magaluf Bob and Inter Sandra collided approaching the home turn.  Lil' Miss Pleb raced wide on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trials

Lady Magic trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 4, weight 29.4kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.21. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.75 lengths.  Lady Magic was cleared.

Radley's Reality trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 29.7kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.21.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths.  Radley's Reality was cleared.
