Steward's Report
Jordy Paige and Cosmic Ketut were quick to begin. Swift Frank was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Sting Like Ali and Jordy Paige collided approaching the first turn. Jordy Paige and Premier Wally collided on the first turn checking Jordy Paige. Jordy Paige and Swift Frank collided on the first turn. Tat Jocko checked off Jaycee on the first turn. Swift Frank marred the running of Sting Like Ali in the home straight.
Swift Frank was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazing to its right hind hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Robertson, the trainer of Swift Frank regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1), stewards charged Swift Frank with marring. Mr. Robertson pleaded guilty to the charge. Swift Frank was found guilty and the greyhound was suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.
