Stewards spoke to J. Birthisel, the trainer of Burrawonga Tiny regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Burrawonga Tiny last raced on 25 June, 2015. Mr. Birthisel stated that the greyhound had experienced numerous injuries and was now fit to race again.  Mr. Birthisel also declared a new weight of 31.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Burrawonga Tiny last raced at 30.2kg.

Tiger Jones and Sketchy Fancy were slow to begin.  Dodge Ball, Fancy Sam and Veetee Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Fancy Sam.  Fancy Sam and Sketchy Fancy collided several times approaching the first turn.  Fancy Sam clipped the heels of Veetee Magic on the first turn.  Dodge Ball and Burrawonga Tiny collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Mewstone Rocket was slow to begin.  Nitro Power and Two Pointover collided soon after the start.  Burrawonga Jimbo and Super Pablo collided approaching the first turn checking Burrawonga Jimbo.  Two Pointover checked off Nancy May approaching the first turn.  Pomp Fiction checked off Nitro Power on the first turn.  Nitro Power, Two Pointover and Mewstone Rocket collided approaching the home turn checking Two Pointover.

Pomp Fiction was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Inmate and Royal Cosmic were slow to begin.  Avatar Girl and You Gotta Know collided approaching the first turn checking Avatar Girl.  Legend checked off Love Capers on the first turn.  Legend checked off Cobra Commander approaching the home turn.  Royal Cosmic raced wide entering the home straight checking Inmate.  Super Patricia and Avatar Girl collided in the home straight.  Inmate and You Gotta Know collided in the home straight.

All Inn Together and Two Teams Umpire were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Two Teams Umpire.  Billy Bio crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Shirdon Wee Nell, Jordy Shiack, Two Teams Umpire and Fine Future.  All Inn Together checked off Billy Bio on the first turn. Jordy Shiack and Fine Future collided approaching the home turn checking Fine Future.  All Inn Together and Jordy Shiack collided in the home straight.

Fine Future was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

All Inn Rum and Don Fire were slow to begin.  Our Cadel and Lektra Khan collided approaching the first turn checking Our Cadel.  All Inn Rum checked off Dance Craze approaching the first turn.  All Inn Rum and Lektra Khan collided on the first turn.  Tat Duke and Lektra Khan collided approaching the home turn severely checking Tat Duke, Lektra Khan and All Inn Rum.

Zulu Retreat was slow to begin.  Tybellene, Snooky and Chappy collided soon after the start checking Snooky.  Cosmic Shez, Chappy and Tybellene collided approaching the first turn.  Chappy and Tybellene collided on the first turn.  Tybellene, Chappy and Cosmic Shez collided approaching the home turn checking Chappy and Snooky and severely checking Cosmic Shez.  Zulu Retreat checked off To Seven Eleven approaching the home turn.  Tybellene checked off Zulu Retreat approaching the home turn.  Tybellene and Snooky collided entering the home straight.

Cosmic Shez was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn nail from its right front dew claw and a right hind spike wound.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Deglaitis regarding the direction that the greyhound Chappy be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2), Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Jordy Paige and Cosmic Ketut were quick to begin.  Swift Frank was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Sting Like Ali and Jordy Paige collided approaching the first turn.  Jordy Paige and Premier Wally collided on the first turn checking Jordy Paige.  Jordy Paige and Swift Frank collided on the first turn.  Tat Jocko checked off Jaycee on the first turn.  Swift Frank marred the running of Sting Like Ali in the home straight.

Swift Frank was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazing to its right hind hock.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Robertson, the trainer of Swift Frank regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1), stewards charged Swift Frank with marring.  Mr. Robertson pleaded guilty to the charge.  Swift Frank was found guilty and the greyhound was suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mohinga Max and Roo Dee collided soon after the start.  Samus Allen, Mohinga Max, Roo Dee and Hetalia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Roo Dee and Hetalia Bale.  Roo Dee checked off Hetalia Bale on the first turn.  Roo Dee checked off Antivist approaching the home turn.  Mendes and Megan Keeping collided on the home turn checking Mendes.

Knocka's Choir was quick to begin.  Royal Knocka was slow to begin.  Cowboy Jury and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the first turn.  Royal Knocka and Opal Bale collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Cosmic Lily was quick to begin.  Total Blonde and Specify collided soon after the start checking Total Blonde.  Pollos Hermanos and Hersi collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Total Blonde crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Pollos Hermanos and Hersi.  Play A Kazoo checked off Suave Odessa approaching the home turn.  Suave Odessa and Play A Kazoo collided on the home turn.

Ivy Lane was slow to begin.  Katunga Time crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Disco Diamond, Locked Out, King Spotalot, Rennicane and Terrorizer.  Horsham Myth, Katunga Time and King Spotalot collided on the first turn severely checking King Spotalot and Terrorizer; Terrorizer fell as a result. Disco Diamond crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Locked Out and Ivy Lane and severely checking Katunga Time, Rennicane and King Spotalot.  Horsham Myth checked off Disco Diamond on the home turn and collided with Locked Out as a result.

Terrorizer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to S. Waycott, the trainer of Hell On Wheels regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hell On Wheels last raced on 17 June, 2015. Mr. Waycott stated that the greyhound had been recovering from illness and an injury to the toe.  Mr. Waycott also declared a new weight of 34.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Hell On Wheels last raced at 33.6kg.
