Steward's Report
Zulu Retreat was slow to begin. Tybellene, Snooky and Chappy collided soon after the start checking Snooky. Cosmic Shez, Chappy and Tybellene collided approaching the first turn. Chappy and Tybellene collided on the first turn. Tybellene, Chappy and Cosmic Shez collided approaching the home turn checking Chappy and Snooky and severely checking Cosmic Shez. Zulu Retreat checked off To Seven Eleven approaching the home turn. Tybellene checked off Zulu Retreat approaching the home turn. Tybellene and Snooky collided entering the home straight.
Cosmic Shez was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn nail from its right front dew claw and a right hind spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Deglaitis regarding the direction that the greyhound Chappy be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2), Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
