Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. S Waycott, the trainer of Platinum Impact regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Platinum Impact last raced on 13th August, 2016 and is returning to racing after an illness.
Tooralee was quick to begin. Kraken Tilda, Man Down and Clear Sense collided soon after the start, checking Kraken Tilda. Man Down checked off Clear Sense on the first turn. Man Down and Fiery Miss collided on the first turn, checking Man Down. Fairway Drive and Fiery Miss collided approaching the home turn. Platinum Impact and Brazen Beetroot collided approaching the home turn. Fairway Drive, Brazen Beetroot and Fiery Miss collided entering the home straight, checking all three greyhounds. Brazen Beetroot and Fiery Miss collided in the home straight.
Platinum Impact was vetted folowing the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left fore paw, a ten day stand down period was imposed.
