A pre-race sample was taken from Myalla Five.
Our Nico went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Smashing Evie, Bev's Girl and Major Dollar collided approaching the first turn checking Bev's Girl and Major Dollar. Watsargo Sarge checked off Smashing Evie on the first turn checking Rock Me Baby and Bev's Girl. Rock Me Baby contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Bev's Girl; Bev's Girl was checked as a result.
Rock Me Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
