Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Leroy The Boy.
On arrival at the starting boxes Oh Lele Simon was examined by the club's veterinary surgeon and was passed fit to race. As a result, this event started 4 minutes late.
Maximum Kick was slow to begin. Nikon Bale checked off Oh Lele Simon soon after the start, checking Maximum Kick. Nikon Bale, Leroy The Boy and Maximum Kick collided approaching the first turn, checking Leroy The Boy. Nikon Bale and Maximum Kick collided on the first turn, checking Maximum Kick. Iona Blackflash and Slick Ice collided approaching the home turn.
Leroy The Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right triceps and sand burn to the left front nail, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
