Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to P. Simone, the trainer of Lektra Blanket regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Blanket last raced on 23th March, 2015. Mr. Simone stated that the greyhound is returning from a hock injury.
Take The Chance and Zelemar Zing were slow to begin. Greendale Xpress crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Baroness Tippy. Take The Chance and Zelemar Zing collided on the first turn. Greendale Xpress and Lektra Blanket collided on the first turn checking Greendale Xpress, Lee I Am, Ima Cosmic, Baroness Tippy and Cold Stare. Take The Chance checked off Greendale Xpress approaching the home turn checking Lee I Am. Zelemar Zing and Baroness Tippy collided approaching the home turn checking Baroness Tippy.
