Shake 'Em Up and Azza were slow to begin.  Warriors Code, Nitro Song and Lucy Boots collided soon after the start checking Lucy Boots.  Nitro Song, Lucy Boots and Azza collided on the first turn.  Nitro Song and Lucy Boots collided approaching the home turn checking Nitro Song.  Maximum Bella and Azza collided approaching the home turn checking Azza.

Pyrenees Dynasty was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Calm Bliss, Hamilton and Bulk Carnage collided soon after the start checking Hamilton.  Atmosphere and Crazy Dayz collided approaching the first turn checking Atmosphere.  Atmosphere, Bulk Carnage and Calm Bliss collided approaching the first turn checking Atmosphere and Calm Bliss.  Hamilton checked off Atmosphere on the home turn checking Calm Bliss.  Atmosphere and Calm Bliss collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Contrive and Winnellie were slow to begin.  Simply Vivacious checked off Stefanovic approaching the first turn.  Simply Vivacious and Winnellie collided on the first turn.  Contrive checked off Kid Rhubarb on the first turn.  Stefanovic and Maris Gold collided on the first turn.  Contrive checked off Bekim Nikita approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Contrive checked off Bekim Nikita approaching the home turn.  Bekim Nikita checked off Simply Vivacious approaching the home turn.  Winnellie checked off Bekim Nikita on the home turn.  Winnellie raced wide entering the home straight.

Peyton Paradise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ceejay Whim was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right hind toenail.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Duval went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Oriental Lord was slow to begin.  Shirdon Wee Nell and It's An Illusion collided approaching the first turn checking It's An Illusion.  Four Elements, Shirdon Wee Nell and Oriental Lord collided on the first turn.  Super Patricia, Four Elements, It's An Illusion, Stolen Gem and Sharon Benz collided on the first turn severely checking It's An Illusion and Sharon Benz; Sharon Benz fell as a result.  

It's An Illusion was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Oriental Lord was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sharon Benz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured front foreleg.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Kaylarikki was slow to begin.  Winfield Sammy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Flying Opal, Hook Him In and High Hopes.  Hook Him In and Flying Opal collided approaching the second turn.  Hook Him In and High Hopes collided on the second turn checking Hook Him In.  High Hopes and Pason Sander collided approaching the winning post checking Pason Sander.

Mr. D. Field was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers / registration card was produced for the greyhound Flaming Bob pursuant to GAR 33.

Heart In Motion was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left hind achillies tendon.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Key Largo Prince, China Rose and Bet Bet Ryan were slow to begin.  China Rose, Pop Wright and Bet Bet Ryan collided soon after the start.  Key Largo Prince and We Froff Dat collided approaching the first turn.  Key Largo Prince, We Froff Dat, China Rose, Pop Wright and Bet Bet Ryan collided on the first turn checking Key Largo Prince, China Rose, Pop Wright and Bet Bet Ryan.  Paramount Arrow and Sparkling Kitty collided approaching the home turn.  Key Largo Prince checked off Pop Wright approaching the home turn checking China Rose.  Paramount Arrow and Sparkling Kitty collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to P. Simone, the trainer of Lektra Blanket regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lektra Blanket last raced on 23th March, 2015. Mr. Simone stated that the greyhound is returning from a hock injury.

Take The Chance and Zelemar Zing were slow to begin.  Greendale Xpress crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Baroness Tippy.  Take The Chance and Zelemar Zing collided on the first turn.  Greendale Xpress and Lektra Blanket collided on the first turn checking Greendale Xpress, Lee I Am, Ima Cosmic, Baroness Tippy and Cold Stare.  Take The Chance checked off Greendale Xpress approaching the home turn checking Lee I Am.  Zelemar Zing and Baroness Tippy collided approaching the home turn checking Baroness Tippy.
