Steward's Report
Roll 'Em Sharky and Cool Whipp were quick to begin. Cool Whipp, All Inn Rum, Mr. Make Believe and Sea Winds collided soon after the start checking Sea Winds. Roll 'Em Sharky and All Inn Rum collided approaching the first turn checking Roll 'Em Sharky. Tiggerlong Dot eased approaching the winning post.
Tiggerlong Dot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a muscular strain to both pencil muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Cusack, Trainer of Tiggerlong Dot. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged the greyhound with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Cusack pleaded guilty to the charge,Tiggerlong Dot was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
A sample was also taken from Tiggerlong Dot, the winner of the event.
