Roll 'Em Mighty and Cartivating were quick to begin. Look Away, Charming Ally and Fatboy Linc were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Charming Ally. Cool Dude Roy checked off Super Pablo approaching the first turn. Look Away checked off Fatboy Linc approaching the first turn. Roll 'Em Mighty checked off Unique Motive on the first turn. Unique Motive and Super Pablo collided on the first turn, checking Super Pablo, severely checking Cool Dude Roy and causing Charming Ally and Fatboy Linc to race wide. Fatboy Linc raced wide on the home turn. Roll 'Em Mighty checked off Unique Motive in the home straight. 

Cool Dude Roy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left front foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Wombat was quick to begin. Sketchy Max and Crackerjack Cam were slow to begin. Winter Blues and Noaki Hawk collided on the first turn, checking Winter Blues. Snow Hawke and Crackerjack Cam raced wide on the home turn. Noaki Hawk, Sketchy Max, Snow Hawke and Crackerjack Cam raced wide in the home straight. Crackerjack Cam checked off Snow Hawke in the home straight. 

Redfern and Royal Cosmic were slow to begin. Redfern checked off Royal Cosmic approaching the first turn. Allen Lottery, Allen Marky, Royal Cosmic and Unique Ghosty collided on the first turn, checking Allen Marky and severely checking Allen Lottery. Reignlee, Lord Regnar and Firebomb collided approaching the home turn, checking Lord Regnar. Reignlee, Firebomb and Royal Cosmic collided on the home turn, checking Reignlee and Firebomb. Reignlee galloped on the heels of Firebomb on the home turn, checking Firebomb and severely checking Reignlee which stumbled and lost ground. Redfern and Royal Cosmic raced wide entering the home straight. Allen Lottery checked off Lord Regnar in the home straight. Lord Regnar checked off Firebomb in the home straight. 

Reignlee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury and abrasions to the left hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr C.Van lieshout, the trainer regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Reignlee. Stewards directed that Reignlee be boxed first in future events.

Houdini's Gold and Aston Bolero were quick to begin. Andrej's and All Inn Rum were slow to begin. Black Mumbo crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking All Inn Rum, Takedown and Andrej's. Andrej's checked off Takedown approaching the first turn. Takedown and All Inn Rum raced wide on the home turn and collided in the home straight, checking All Inn Rum. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Andrej's became dislodged during the running of the event. 

Aston Bolero was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Sunlit Cobber was quick to begin. Dot Com Diesel and Little Mumma Cry were slow to begin. Civil Pursuit and Bresha Bale collided soon after the start, checking Civil Pursuit. Civil Pursuit, Sunlit Cobber and Little Mumma Cry collided on the first turn, checking Sunlit Cobber and Little Mumma Cry. Sunlit Cobber checked off Little Mumma Cry approaching the home turn. Inmate raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Herbivorous and Movefasa Reg were slow to begin. Zipping Geoff and Tribal Faith collided soon after the start, checking Zipping Geoff. Miss Cersei and Ultimate Jack collided on the first turn. Zipping Geoff checked off Tribal Faith approaching the second turn. Miss Cersei faltered in the back straight and pulled up. Herbivorous and Kraken Flash collided approaching the home turn, checking Herbivorous and Zipping Geoff. Herbivorous and Zipping Geoff collided on the home turn, checking Herbivorous. Ultimate Jack and Kraken Flash collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Tribal Faith raced wide in the home straight. 

Miss Cersei was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Herbivorous was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a strained right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Roman Baroque was quick to begin. Coota's Cazaly, Ultima Bale, Tybellene and Roman Baroque collided soon after the start, checking Ultima Bale, Tybellene and Roman Baroque. Ultima Bale and Roman Baroque collided on the first turn, checking Roman Baroque and Tybellene. Tybellene and Roman Baroque collided several times on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Staggerlicious and Ultima Bale collided on the home turn, checking Staggerlicious.

Lektra Jewel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both shoulders, right triangle and right pencil muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Uncool Albert, Senor Laurie and Clovalley Rang were slow to begin. Watta Good Dee, Mohinga Max, Total Blonde and Premier Wally collided approaching the first turn, checking Mohinga Max, Total Blonde and Premier Wally. Mohinga Max galloped on the heels of Total Blonde approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Premier Wally, Clovalley Rang and Uncool Albert raced wide entering the home straight. Mohinga Max and Total Blonde collided several times in the home straight.
