Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Crackerjack Dak.
Reverie and Vapour Caper were slow to begin. Sisco Flyer and Crackerjack Dak collided soon after the start. Dyna Keitaro checked off Giants Dance approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Dak crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Giants Dance. Chappy turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.
Chappy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and left quadricep, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards established that Chappy turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Chappy was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
