Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs A Dailly, the trainer of Dyna Rapidash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dyna Rapidash last raced on 31st May, 2015. Mrs Dailly stated that greyhound was returning from a shoulder injury. Mrs. Dailly also declared a new weight of 27.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Rapidash last raced at 29.1kg.
Sulzanti was slow to begin. Dyna Rapidash and Blue Revolver collided approaching the first turn, checking Blue Revolver, Iyliss Bale and Axis Bale. Iyliss Bale checked off Blue Revolver approaching the home turn. Axis Bale and Iyliss Bale collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Rapidash and Axis Bale collided on the home turn, checking Axis Bale and severely checking Dyna Rapidash.
A sample was taken from Sulzanti - the winner of the event.
Dyna Rapidash was vetted and after being revetted following event 8, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
