Maximum Bella was quick to begin. Balloon D'Or went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3.5 lengths). Lettuce Hold On, Spot The Boats and Swift Lacey collided approaching the first turn. Maximum Bella crossed to the rail on the first turn, severely checking Lettuce Hold On, Spot The Boats and Sunset Eclipse. Lettuce Hold On and Spot The Boats collided on the first turn. Sunset Eclipse crossed to the outside approaching the home turn, checking Ima Lonely Girl, both greyhounds to raced wide as a result. Lettuce Hold On checked off White About in the home straight. White About Now and Lettuce Hold On collided several times approaching the winning post.
