Steward's Report
Solitary was slow to begin. Avatar Ice and Kraken Mazing collided approaching the first turn checking Avatar Ice. Cosmic Wish and Melrose Drive collided on the first turn. Avatar Ice and Solitary collided on the home turn.
Avatar Ice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from thumps as well as an injury to the left wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Kraken Mazing, the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr K. Eyles, trainer of Kraken Mazing and reminded him of his responsibilities in regards to the use of mobile phones while handling.
