Steward's Report
The start of this race was delayed momentarily due to the handler of Brindle Audrey tripping over the greyhound whilst boxing.
Yorgi Blues and Barton Bale were slow to begin. Radio Silent, Flying Holly and Oriental Lord collided soon after the start checking Flying Holly. Barton Bale checked off Brindle Audrey approaching the first turn. Barton Bale, Radio Silent, Oriental Lord and Skate Thin Ice collided approaching the first turn. Yorgi Blues, Flying Holly and Brindle Audrey collided on the first turn, severely checking Brindle Audrey. Oriental Lord and Skate Thin Ice collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Formosa, representative of Flying Holly in regards to the suitability of the greyhounds muzzle. In not taking further action Stewards noted that there was an error in communicating to the handler what gear the greyhound should race with.
