Legend Jack and Harry Fields collided approaching the home turn checking Harry Fields. Harry Fields, Evelyn and Proven Eddie collided approaching the winning post.

Proven Eddie was vetted following the event after the greyhound fell approaching the the catching pen.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Ataraxia was quick to begin.  Splash Of White and Johnny's Return were slow to begin.  Gilberto crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Red Light Runner, Sharkie's Arrow and Splash Of White.  Red Light Runner, Sharkie's Arrow and Splash Of White collided on the first turn checking Red Light Runner.  Ataraxia stumbled on the first turn and lost ground checking Johnny's Return.  Ataraxia and Splash Of White collided entering the home straight checking Ataraxia.

Ataraxia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Gilberto was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the tail, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Riverside Deb was quick to begin.  Jack's Rainbow and He Ain't Sweet collided approaching the first turn checking He Ain't Sweet.  He Ain't Sweet contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Aston Salute was checked off El Surrao on the first turn. Jack's Rainbow, Burnt Orange and Tarree's Ruslie collided on the first turn checking Burnt Orange. Tarree's Ruslie raced wide on the home turn.

Riverside Deb was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Crash Zone and Lightwood Miss were quick to begin.  Ulla was slow to begin.  Becky Bale and Loud Lana collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Lucky Tetris, Crash Zone and Lightwood Miss collided on the first turn checking Lucky Tetris.  Lightwood Miss was checked off Guard Your Path on the first turn.  Ulla galloped on Lightwood Miss on the first turn checking Lucky Tetris and severely checking Lightwood Miss and Ulla.  Guard Your Path raced wide on the home turn.

Cosmic Missile, Bigshow Jethro and It's My Secret were slow to begin.  Galaxy Star and Henry collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Missile, Miss Pepperoni and Galaxy Star collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Pepperoni and Galaxy Star.  Galaxy Star and It's My Secret collided on the first turn checking Galaxy Star and Bigshow Jethro.  Cosmic Missile and Henry collided several times approaching the home turn.  Miss Pepperoni was checked of It's My Secret approaching the home turn and raced wide.  It's My Secret raced wide on the home turn.  Miss Pepperoni and Bigshow Jethro collided entering the home straight.  Galaxy Star was checked off It's My Secret in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Gorman, the trainer of Hashtag Yolo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hashtag Yolo last raced on 16 July 2016 and is returning after having a corn on the back left foot and hock soreness. 

A pre-race sample upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling was unable to be obtained from Maleune. A pre-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Lakeview Harley was quick to begin.  Maleune and Rub The Buddha were slow to begin.  Lakeview Harley crossed in soon after the start checking Lucky Brew and Guillermo.  Hyundai Hawk crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lakeview Harley.  Hashtag Yolo, Lucky Brew and Guillermo collided on the first turn checking Lucky Brew and Guillermo.  Guillermo was checked off Rub The Buddha approaching the home turn.  Rub The Buddha and Lakeview Harley collided in the home straight.  Hashtag Yolo raced wide in the home straight.
