Sidevalve checked off El Mirage approaching the second turn. It's All Over and John John Lava collided on the third turn, checking It's All Over. Broulee Miss checked off Dr. Flannigan on the home turn. It's All Over and Dr. Flannigan collided on the home turn. Broulee Miss and El Mirage collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. 

Cette To Dance and Jemma's Fantasy were quick to begin. Rig Fifty Five and Our Turbo Boy collided approaching the first turn. Rig Fifty Five checked off Our Turbo Boy approaching the first turn. Extreme Magic, Ruby Ohara and Jemma's Fantasy collided on the first turn, severely checking Aston Chanel and Jemma's Fantasy. Extreme Magic checked off Ruby Ohara approaching the second turn. Our Turbo Boy checked off Extreme Magic approaching the home turn, checking Aston Chanel. Aston Chanel and Our Turbo Boy collided approaching the home turn. Extreme Magic and Cette To Dance collided in the home straight. 

Lil' Miss Banjo went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Gold Bombardier, Melissa Lee, Dr. Frankie and Swing Arm collided soon after the start. Dr. Frankie, Melissa Lee, Our Mate Wilson and Lil' Miss Banjo collided on the first turn, checking Melissa Lee, Lil' Miss Banjo and Our Mate Wilson. Hit The Runaway and Dr. Frankie collided approaching the second turn. Gold Bombardier and Blazing Lane collided approaching the second turn. Swing Arm checked off Hit The Runway in the back straight. Hit The Runway checked off Blazing Lane in the back straight. Hit The Runway and Dr. Frankie collided in the back straight. Our Mate Wilson galloped on the heels of Melissa Lee approaching the third turn. Dr. Frankie and Melissa Lee collided approaching the home turn, checking Melissa Lee. Our Mate Wilson checked off Melissa Lee approaching the home turn, checking Melissa Lee and Hit The Runway.

Don Lino and Stevron Autos collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Fab Dream and King Fipa collided on the first turn, checking Fab Dream. Fab Dream and Mepunga Laser collided approaching the third turn, checking Fab Dream. 

Radio Silent was a late scratching at 8:41AM due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kwazii was quick to begin. Nobu checked off Why Not Mick approaching the first turn. Dr. Melezar, Fiamatta and Trixie Diamond collided on the first turn, checking Fiamatta and Trixie Diamond. Dr. Melezar and Shellington collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Nobu was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Whispering Soul and Destini Surfer collided soon after the start. Dyna Dalma, Whispering Soul, Destini Mermaid and Pink Shoelaces collided approaching the first turn. Whispering Soul, Destini Mermaid and Pink Shoelaces collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Whispering Soul and Destini Mermaid collided approaching the second turn. Destini Mermaid and Pink Shoelaces collided on the second turn, checking Pink Shoelaces. It's A Bird and Dyna Dalma collided in the back straight.

Windsor Prize was a late scratching at 3:25PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right wrist injury. A ten day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Black Salve. 

Dr. Compulsion was slow to begin. Dr. Compulsion and Zipping Henry collided soon after the start. Tiggerlong Thief and Augustus Dagloop collided soon after the start. Black Salve and Zipping Henry collided approaching the first turn. Destini Wahoo and Tiggerlong Thief collided on the first turn, checking Destini Wahoo, Tiggerlong Thief, Dr. Compulsion and Dolce Gusto. Dolce Gusto checked off Tiggerling Thief approaching the second turn, checking Zipping Henry, Black Salve and Dolce Gusto; causing Dolce Gusto to fall. Black Salve marred the running of Zipping Henry entering the back straight, checking Zipping Henry. 

Dolce Gusto was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration near the dew claw on the left fore foot, spike wounds to the right hind foot and pain to the left pencil muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Black Salve was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Mizzi, the trainer of the greyhound Black Salve regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Black Salve with marring. Mr. Mizzi pleaded not guilty to the charge, Black Salve was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dyna Edgar was a late scratching at 6:18AM due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Lyka Allen and Sir Bekim collided soon after the start. Gardsman and Rinash collided approaching the first turn. Little Pookie, Dark Jameson and Sir Bekim collided approaching the first turn, checking Sir Bekim. Cashin' In failed to persue the lure with due commitment on the home turn. 

Sir Bekim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right monkey muscle and spike wounds to the left hind foot, a ten day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Sharp, the representative of the greyhound Cashin' In regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Cashin' In was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Cashin' In with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Sharp pleaded guilty to the charge, Cashin' In was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Little Miss Emm was slow to begin. Out On Parole and Crump's Legend collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Crump's Legend checked off Zipping Lady on the first turn, checking Tedesco and Out On Parole. Zipping Lady and Turbo Road collided on the first turn. Out On Parole and Crump's Legend collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Zipping Lady and Turbo Road collided apporaching the winning post.

Sunday Sess was slow to begin. Adam Handler, Athos and Paua To Roar collided on the first turn. Athos and Paua To Roar collided entering the back straight, checking Paua To Roar, which raced wide as a result. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Goldenpaw Glory. 

Maserati Rev, Roman Around and Goldenpaw Glory were slow to begin. Precious Destini, Lady Of Ellie, Goldenpaw Glory and Roman Around collided on the first turn, checking Precious Destini, Lady Of Ellie and Goldenpaw; and severely checking Roman Around and Maserati Rev. Goldenpaw Glory clipped the heels of Lady Of Ellie in the back straight. Goldenpaw Glory checked off Lady Of Ellie on the home turn. Precious Destini and Play Alone collided approaching the winning post.

Full Blown Turbo, Cutie Alliyah and Certified collided on the first turn. Full Blown Turbo checked off Cutie Alliyah on the first turn, checking Dr. Watson. Brooklyn Skye and Crump's Beauty collided on the first turn. Dr. Eleonora and Buckle Up Mauve collided in the back straight, checking Buckle Up Mauve. Cutie Alliyah clipped the heels of Certified approaching the home turn, checking Full Blown Turbo and Dr. Watson, and severely checking Cutie Alliyah which fell as a result.
