Proper Bluey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Proper Bluey - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Rachele, the trainer of the greyhound Proper Bluey regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Proper Bluey with marring. Mr. Rachele pleaded guilty to the charge, Proper Bluey was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 12 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dynamic Spin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greryhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed. 

Soxy was a late scratching at 3.00 PM due to a wrist injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
