A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Dalma upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Woofa Combo checked off Dyna Edgar soon after the start. Our First Lady, Allen Hadrian and Telarah Flash collided soon after the start. Dyna Edgar, Our First Lady, Allen Hadrian and Telarah Flash collided approaching the first turn checking Our First Lady. Woofa Combo and Magic Coups collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Woofa Combo, Dyna Edgar and Allen Hadrain collided on the first turn. Woofa Combo checked off Allen Hadrian on the second turn. Allen Hadrain marred the running of Nobu entering the home straight. Woofa Coups raced wide in the home straight.
Allen Hadrain was vetted following the event. it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr T. Dailly, the handler of the greyhound Allen Hadrain regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Allen Hadrian with marring. Mr T. Dailly pleaded not guilty to the charge, Allen Hadrian was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
