Steward's Report
Nat was slow to begin. Scoop Jackson, Turbo Injected, Mr. Nasty Time and Miz Josie collided approaching the first turn checking Miz Josie and Mr. Nasty Time. Miz Josie and Mr. Nasty Time collided on the first turn checking Miz Josie. Scoop Jackson checked off Simply Mystic on the first turn checking Turbo Injected and causing Scoop Jackson to race wide; Scoop Jackson caused Nat to race wide as a result. Simply Mystic checked off Wilbur on the first turn. Miz Josie and Turbo Injected collided approaching the home turn. Wilbur lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Wilbur was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Mitchell, the trainer of the greyhound Wilbur regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event. Mr. Mitchell informed Stewards that he was intending to seek an early race request for the greyhound's next start. Stewards noted Mr. Mitchell's comments and took no further action.
